I can use Duplicate these displays , Show only on 1 or Show only on 2, all work fine, except Extend these displays . When I select Extended , the second screen shows up with task bar, but I cannot move any window onto the second screen.
11/21/2016 · Extended Display worked before the reinstallation. Reinstalled from the recovery partition (Windows 8) , then it went into the automatic Windows 10 upgrade. (laptop bought in Nov). Yes it supports 4K res. My Lenovo Yoga Pro 2 works fine with same 4K monitor .

8/12/2010 · Ok, I just added another monitor to my computer and both monitors display the same image (what’s on screen 1 is the exact same thing on screen 2). I went to properties >> settings >> extend desktop, BUT the settings won’t hold. I clicked Identify and it says both monitors are Monitor 1. Today I had to do a reboot and after the reboot both screens are active, but the second screen only shows the taskbar and a blank screen. I can’t move the cursor to it – it just bumps up against the edge of the first display and won’t move over. Likewise, if I slide a window across it doesn’t go onto the second display .
