Stick to Cala d’Or , more beaches, night life, shops and things to do. Some excellent hotels including the Sa Marina, Hotel Cala d’Or , Rocamarina, plus some great smaller boutique hotels such as Fowler’s. Easy access to the Marina, Cala d’Or Old Town and transport links. Nothing wrong with Cala Egos , just my own personal view.

I’d say it’s around a 20-25 min walk from Cala egos to Cala D’or, it’s a lovely walk though that takes you past the marina.There are restaurants for you in Cala egos but I would advise to make that walk into the centre of Cala D’or for a least one meal as there are so many brilliant restaurants to choose from .
Probably on the Cala d’Or side, which means quite a lot of the resort is within decent walking distance. We’ve just returned from exactly that having stayed in Cala Ferrera, Cal Egos and fairly central in Cala d’Or many times in the past, but this was something else.

Probably takes about 15 minutes to walk around the marina . I would stay on the Cala D’or side with a family, but I’m sure many Cala Egos fans will tell you that their side is better .
We would go back again just for the swimming at the Egos beach. The beach is down a road off the roundabout at the top of the road; it’s clearly signposted. Walk down the road post 2 shops/restaurants, opposite the car park there are steps down to a beautiful beach with.
